Groundbreaking in Donaustadt: Glorit builds 24 exclusive owner-occupied apartments within walking distance of the U2 and S-Bahn

At Hausfeldstraße 116 in Vienna’s 22nd district, premium property developer Glorit is creating a new residential project featuring 24 turnkey freehold apartments. With the official groundbreaking ceremony now complete, construction is officially underway.

Across two buildings, modern apartments with 2 to 5 rooms and living spaces ranging from 59 to 134 square metres are being created. Prices start at €329,900.

The project combines the advantages of a dynamically growing district with a green residential setting, a wide range of leisure opportunities and excellent public transport connections: U2 subway station Hausfeldstraße and the S-Bahn can be reached on foot in around ten minutes. Badeteich Hirschstetten and Blumengärten Hirschstetten are also close by, as are Seestadt and Gewerbepark Stadlau.

One of the highlights of the project is the selection of particularly well-appointed penthouse apartments, featuring ceiling spotlights, mirrored cabinets, shaded flat-roof windows and insect screens.

The units will be handed over turnkey by the end of 2027 to their future owners.

With Hausfeldstraße 116, we are creating homes in a location that combines the dynamism of Donaustadt with excellent transport connections. The range of apartment sizes, from two to five rooms, together with attractive entry-level prices, makes the project appealing to a broad spectrum of owner-occupiers.

Living between Breitenlee and Hirschstetten

With the project at Hausfeldstraße, Glorit is further expanding its residential offering in the neighbourhood around Breitenlee and Hirschstetten.

In July, the foundation stone was laid for another Glorit project on nearby Mittelfeldweg. Ten detached houses on privately owned plots are being built there, aimed particularly at families. “With our projects on Mittelfeldweg and Hausfeldstraße, we are creating a range of housing options to suit different stages of life and residential needs. At the same time, we place great emphasis on energy-efficient features. In addition to sustainable heat supply using heat pumps with geothermal boreholes, our residential projects also include ceiling cooling with thermally activated building components,” adds Kloihofer.
