Glorit supports ‘Danube Clean-Up’ once again
Over 350 kilograms of waste collected from the Alte Donau.
Following its huge success in the spring, DIVEBLUE organised its third Danube Clean-Up last weekend – this time opposite the Gänsehäufel lido in Vienna. The starting point for the campaign was the Glorit property at Gingkoweg 1, which, with its riverside location, provided the ideal base for diving trips to the nearby jetties.
Numerous volunteers came together for the good cause to collect waste out of the water. Thanks to the energetic efforts of over 30 divers and many helping hands on land, a considerable amount of waste was collected and disposed of properly – from an anchor to a palm tree to e-scooters.
‘We are delighted that, as a company with regional roots, we were once again able to be part of this great initiative,’ says Thomas Hammerschmied, Head of Marketing at Glorit. ‘The Old Danube is a unique nature and recreation area – and it should remain so for a long time to come.’
